about

The third TRUCKER line-up was a little less serious. We just wanted to rock. We had the loudest drummer in Hamilton. I have seen Terry blow the bottom out (not the top - the bottom) of his snare drum at least three times. He would quite often bend it too - one of the old stainless steel numbers. My hearing will never recover from playing with Terry - but I would do so again at the drop of a hat! And with Spook on guitar (Julian) we were a force to be reckoned with.
Having said that - this is just a shitty Stones rip-off. I like the lyrics though.
"Give me heartache, You're just a house of cards, soggy blanket, wrapped around the lard - You're on the rocks again".
One of my character songs. Always more fun than writing about yourself.
- Jamie.
